Kritou Terra - Part 1
Wash Day
The water would run along the channel on the left here.
From the channel, it runs into the wall, from where it descends into the water mill. So the locals got good use of their water.
Water Tank
Walking back to the car, you will notice a well-preserved water tank, or reservoir. When we visited there were actually some children in it, who looked like they were on the hunt for frog-spawn.
Swan Vista
I'm not sure what the purpose of the inflatable swan is though.
Memorial
Beyond the reservoir is a memorial to the brave men of Kritou Terra who died in various wars. In Part 2 we shall visit the casino and wander down some of Kritou Terra's narrow streets.
