Kato Paphos Renovations
Birds Eye Views

I shall be doing a separate article on the the Coastline From The Air, but here are a few spare drone photos I had left over.

See the film if you want to know what hotels you are looking at.

I have to be careful flying the drone here, as it is close to no-fly zones. Indeed there is a height restriction in place I need to observe. Also I have to be on the lookout for paragliders.
Pretty Coastline

So as you can see, Paphos is changing. I for one welcome the changes, and see them as improvements. I can understand that if you have lived here since the Seventies, and remember it as a small fishing village, then you might not be so keen. But give it a chance. Let's face it, it will happen whether you like it or not anyway. But who knows? They may well get it right. They do seem to be heading in the right direction...
Paphos Hotels Film
If you are curious, this was the first half of the film I made. The second half will feature hotels heading up towards Geroskipou.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
