Kato Paphos Part 3 - Bar Street
Old Bar

On the way around you I noticed an old bar through the windows. That must have seen happier days, and nights.

Round Back

Around the back, there did appear to be some sort of activity. Perhaps another club uses it for storage, or perhaps there is a club here that doesn't open until 2AM? Suffice it to say, I don't think they would have approved of my poking my nose around trying to get to the bowling alley. So I went back to the main drag.
Doom And Gloom

So far, I think we can all agree, Bar Street has been pretty dead. From here on in though, it starts coming to life. For a start, there is a cashpoint here. Personally, we recommend you use the Bank of Cyprus cashpoint on the sea front. But it is up to you.
At Night

This is the same scene, taken at night. As you can see, it looks a lot more lively now. This was only 8PM mind you. I imagine it doesn't get busy until later.
Notorious By Day

Again, before visiting these places, it is worth checking the most recent reviews.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
