Kato Paphos Part 3 - Bar Street
Life Goes On
While an awful lot of Bar Street is dead, it is worth noting that above each shell of a club is a series of apartments which do still appear to be inhabited. This is worth remembering when you see all the calls for the whole street to be raised to the ground.
Vibes
When I took this picture I assumed that Vibes was another victim.

However, when I returned at Night, it was all lit up. So whatever it is, it still appears to be open. I just checked their Facebook page though, and there hasn't been much activity at all since 2019. So who knows what is happening. There page also said that they opened at 1AM and closed at 4:30AM. They appeared to specialise in "foam parties" whatever they are.
Incidentally, it is worth checking out the recent reviews of any of these places before you go and spend your money.

This place was next to Lineker's, and suffered a similar fate.
Old Bowl
Cor, that would be a dream find. I'd love to be able to explore an abandoned bowling alley. I've visited abandoned hospitals, spas, brothels and ranches, but never a bowling alley. Unfortunately, it was all locked up.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
