Kato Paphos Part 2 - The Sea Front
Captain's View

A few years ago when we visited Cyprus on holiday we might have frequented some of the restaurants along here. These days we tend to eat further afield though. Actually that's not strictly true, we do still visit Pingouinos, which we will feature later. This is not to say that the food here is no good. Far from it. In fact, it is difficult to get bad food in Cyprus. Most places will serve up a decent plate of food.

Paphos Harbour Webcam

Somewhere over there is the Paphos Harbour webcam.
Webcam View

The webcam image isn't the best in the world, and certainly no DSLR. However, it can capture some nice images, when nature plays ball.

If you check out our Youtube channel you can also see some time lapse films I have created from the images. When a storm breaks they can be quite spectacular!
Shopping Square

In front of Elean there is a little "square" of shops. I put square in quotes because it is in fact round.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
