In some of the undergrowth, I did notice there was a rather large rock wheel. I presume this was used for grinding wheat. How does that fit in with the pits and the channels?

I think I need to visit some of the local museums to see if they have any information.

So that was our look at the Shrine Caves. That that isn't the end of this article. We were in the area, so I thought it would be a good time to revisit some of the other places we had been too earlier.
