Fabrica Hill in 2023
Fabrica Hill
And this is the view of Fabrica Hill itself. You can see where the new walkway ends. From there you can explore numerous points of interest, including a covered area in the right. This contains a mosaic with an information sign tell you all about it.
Old Entrance
In the past, I used to park down there, by the tree in the foreground. Unfortunately they have now closed that car park. Perhaps it is only opened when they are doing archaeological digs?
New Discoveries
And speaking of digs, I am fairly certain that this area is has been excavated in the not too distant past. One cannot help but wonder what lies beneath this hill. There must be many more ruins, as well as undiscovered catacombs.
My New Parking Spot
So, as I couldn't park there, I drove past the roundabout and headed towards the Sea Front. If you turn right next to the tree with all the ribbons tied to it, you will find another car park right next to the start of the walkway.
Mall View
From there you can use the walkway to get to the top of Fabrica Hill. Alternatively you can cross the road and head up through the catacombs.

After comments and photos started appearing on the forum about the erection of a raised walkway, we decided a visit was overdue. With no expectations of what we would see when we got there, other than a vague feeling of disappointment that despite what it looked like, they weren't building a roller coaster, this is what we found.Beyond Fabrica Hill
A few weeks ago we blogged about Fabrica Hill. We went to find out about the new walkway, and to see what was on the hill. The blog was very popular, but left people chomping at the bit for more. Why didn't you feature the amphitheatre? Where will the walkway end? Why are there never any hedgehogs in your blogs? Most of these questions were asked. So the other day, we went back to find the answers. Not only that, but we also found that most elusive of creatures, an artist's impression of what the walkway will look like when it is complete. So read on to find out...Good Pages To Visit
