White Water

A few boulders here and there and you could market a white-water experience.

How Deep?

What is most striking though, is the sign at the entrance to the picnic spot. You can see where debris has been pushed against it. This indicates that at one point the river must have actually crossed the road here.

After the picnic area, the road was actually pretty good, which surprised me.

Beautiful Valley

As I said previously, we first drove down here some time ago. I think at the time we were looking for Moro Nero. It was our first attempt at finding an abandoned village. This was before we had even found Foinikas!

I remember we got as far as the river, but could go no further - the road just ended.

Spring Copse

This wasn't too much of an issue in itself. The countryside around here is lovely, especially in springtime.
