Fortunately, there is more than one way to get from Trimithousa to Evretou, and we were soon heading downhill again.

Here we are at the other end of Evretou Reservoir. We filmed some farting goats here last year.

I remember now. Last time we were taking pictures here was when all the butterflies were migrating. That was pretty spectacular. I wonder if they will be doing the same this year? They migrate every Spring, but last year they were a real show stopper.

Evretou Dam

Ever since we explored the abandoned villages of Evretou and Trimithousa, we have been meaning to return and have a look at the rest of the reservoir. While doing some research for the blog on the Abandoned Village of Evretou, I read how the villagers fled to the nearby village of Trimithousa, before eventually settling in the North.
