Evretou Is Full
While I was here, I met a couple of ladies who were also enjoying the sight. Their next destination was the overspill I had just come from. They offered to show me how to get there but I explained I had already been. I bumped into them again, later on my visit, so they were obviously doing a similar tour to me. Hello, if you are reading this.
Like the Asprokremmos, the water doesn't cascade over the edge at the bottom. I couldn't get close enough to see where it goes to, but to be honest, the more interesting shots are still to come, so let's move swiftly on.
To The Dam
I carried on down the road to the dam. Before reaching it though, I hooked left, so that I could visit the memorial opposite. I took this shot from that road.
Hillside View
This is an unusual view...
... because the track I usually drive down is now submerged by the lake. Cypriots are very good at making new tracks though, so I was able to get to the memorial by taking a slight, easy diversion.
Lakeside
I waded through the undergrowth to get to the memorial. If you don't know what the memorial is, don't worry, it will become clear as the blog progresses. I took the following shots from there. If you look carefully you can see yellow pollen dust in the water. This made very intricate patterns.
