Dragon Cave Beach
Nature Says Hello

You can see here where tree roots have decended from the cliff, forming a wall of foliage. Somebody had recently been pruning it. If the carpark was a bit closer this would be a good source of firewood!

Staircase View

The beach itself is fairly small, but I don't think it gets too crowded. I have been down here a few times and the most people I saw must have been about 20.
Sand Art

I liked this little creation that somebody had constructed.
Back To Reality

As I headed back to the stairs I hugged the cliff more. I just love the way that the plant life comes down to meet the beach.
Impressive Arch

I shall leave you with this impressive arch - a mix of wood and stone. If you are in the area, a visit to Dragon Cave Beach should definitely be high up on your list of things to do. We will feature it in our next eBook, which we hope to have published in a month or two. So be on the lookout for that!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
