Levelling Out

The far end of the Strip had made the most progress in constructing ramps. You can see here how nice it will look.
Final Leg

With five companies assisting in getting the project complete, it will soon be all over. Personally I think they have done a tremendous job, and it stands as an example of how such a project should be run successfully. Well done to all concerned.
Coral Bay View

And Finally...

My next report will appear once the Strip is open again. You won't have long to wait. By the time you read this it will be a question of days, rather than weeks or months. They have done a tremendous job.
The upgrade of the Coral Bay area doesn't end here though. Mr Pantelidis spoke of another project to improve the road between Coral Bay and Peyia. This includes increasing the size of Coral Bay Roundabout, making it a lot bigger with six exits. You will see more information on that in the film though. I will include the link again below for convenience. Not only that, but the Cali Resort is due to re-open at the end of May. Coral Bay is going places...

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
