Coral Bay Strip April Update 3
In what has become our weekly drone flight we see how much work has happened to Coral Bay since last Sunday. They have been very busy.
Coast Road Roundabout

Starting at the main Coast Road, we can see that the new surface is nearly complete here.
Where New Meets Old

To be honest I was surprised, as last sunday this part had been fairly bare. They have been very busy indeed in the last seven days.
Game Of Two Sides

The right hand side in this shot now looks pretty much finished. I am guessing that the left isn't yet so that they can still send heavy machinery up and down the strip without damaging the new surface.

We shall fly down the strip so you can see how each stage is progressing. There is also a film, which you can view here if you can't wait until the end of the article. Coral Bay Strip April Drone Flight 3

I wonder what is going on with that cabling down there? It looks like one section is exposed still for some reason. I am in the process of arranging another site visit and I can ask then. It is a bit tricky though as the last thing I want to do is get in their way during what must be a very hectic time.

We aren't due for another progress report on the Coral Bay Strip until towards the end of the month. Yesterday however I was in the area so I sent the drone up the Strip for a sneaky peak. They have been making great progress since the last drone flight. And remember, lots of the restaurants are currently open and accessible from the rear.
Coral Bay Strip - April Update 2
I've just flown the drone up Coral Bay Strip today, so thought I would share some more pictures. They are still working hard at it, and I will be arranging another site visit soon for a proper update. I also flew the drone around Coral Bay Beach and Thalassa Hotel. I can confirm that that has now re-opened and there will be a separate report on that later in the week.Good Pages To Visit
