Aphrodite's Secret Beach Area
Back To The Coast

That's enough of the Baths. Let's get back to the coastline. In this shot you can see Turtle Island and the main beach area.

Before we take a closer look at the main beach, I want to show you some smaller areas accessible from the cliffs within the campsite.
Light Lunch

If you are planning a picnic down there, I would make it a small one. it is a fair old yomp down that path to the beach. If you look at the top right you will see a similar bay there too.
Snorkle Heaven

Moving around, we come to the area between the Restaurant and Turtle Island. The waters here - as in most of Cyprus - are crystal clear, and great for snorkelling.

Now let us turn our attention to the rest of the beach. You can see a lifeguard station in the centre. It is positioned so that the lifeguards can see beaches on both sides. The area in front of the station is actually rocky and suitable only for sunbeds.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
