Polis Beaches Part 2
Maple Beach
Next to Omega Beach is Maple Beach. It's the quieter of the two beaches, but still has a couple of portaloos and a small kiosk above it, so you are not completely left to your own devices.

Risky Business
Driving towards Pomos from Kato Pyrgos, you will see some unusual sights. This one takes the cake though. Personally I wouldn't want to live there . The winter gales don't take prisoners and that is far too close to the coastline for my liking.
Mansoura Bay
The drive from Kato Pyrgos to Pomos goes past a number of military bases and deserted beaches. There is also an abandoned village that we featured in an earlier blog.
Kalivira Tavern
This is a good place to stop en-route if you fancy a break or something to eat.

Pomos is quite a trip from Paphos, but it is most definitely worth it. We were up that way to visit some abandoned villages and overflowing reservoirs this week, but stopped to take in the coast along the way.
