There was quite a lot of seaweed in parts of the beach, as is fairly normal for the Cyprus coastline when not maintained. It didn't cover the entire shoreline though, so you can go for a swim without picking up any annoying bits of seaweed. The seaweed would prove useful later, too...

So, this is Paradise Beach. It won't be to everybody's taste, especially if you like your creature comforts. But if you prefer a quieter beach, in beautiful surroundings, then this is not to be missed.

Rocky Route

Now we shall head around the rocks on the right, to see where we end up.

Seaweed Carpet

The seaweed came into its own around the rocks. It made it much easier to find a path, and was quite comfy to walk on.

Mysterious Fence

We walked past a few rock pools. Unfortunately, rock pools in Cyprus are nothing like the ecosystems they are in the UK. I think it is down to the limited tides we get in the Med. They are still fun to look at though. Speaking of which, I have a feeling the beach will be a great place to do some snorkelling. I haven't tried it yet though, but when I do I will no doubt post an underwater film or something similar.
