The Love Bridge itself was feeling a little neglected. I guess nobody had been getting married until recently.

Just down the coast from the Love Bridge is this very pretty little beach. We did some snorkelling here as it was a nice spot.

Towards The Canyon

Beyond the beaches you come to Cape Greko. This is about as wild as it gets, in terms of countryside, in the East of the Island. It gives me hope for the development of the Akamas as a tourist attraction, because although there is plenty of access to this area, there are still parts where it is very remote. Walking across this area is incredibly tricky though. What this photo doesn't show is the amount of jagged rocks you had to navigate in order to get anywhere off the beaten track. It really was a maze in places. Having to lug assorted cameras about didn't help.

The Canyon

This was our destination. We wanted to go snorkelling here. Unfortunately, the sea was just too rough.

Bubbles

Imagine what the visibility would be like in that? On a calm day though, the area is very popular with divers and the more adventurous snorkeller.
