Up The Path

So we decided to wander up the path, and see where it led. It passes through a number of dwellings, most of which are still inhabited.

The Road is Long...

This path is not short. Given that we visited this in mid summer, we were soon drenched in sweat as we ascended.

Old Farm

This farm had some rabbits and chickens nestled in the ruins.

Nearly at the Top

Finally we are getting to the end. There are some nice lamps here too. I imagine in the evening this would look lovely.

Picnic Area

At the top of the path, is a rather large picnic area, complete with barbecue and running water. It would be a great place for a village event.
