Back To The Main Drag

Having finished exploring the left hand fork of the road, we now find ourselves back at the junction. And we have been joined by some rather curious horses. It is now time to head back.

Up The Junction

We have now returned to the first junction we reached on entering the village, and have taken the left fork. We are now looking back at the road we came on. The building to the right is definitely inhabited.

This house is clearly lived in. I like the scarecrows too, especially the one in a high viz jacket.

Their histories are intertwined, as they were both abandoned for the same reason. Indeed, they merged to form a new, single town, called Statos Agios - Fotios. So what was left behind...

Mousere

If you are driving to Troodos on the Kouklia - Dora road, you will pass through Mousere just after Archimandrita. It isn't a very big place, but it is worth a look around, as there are some nice views coupled with some interesting ruins. Plus, the locals are very welcoming...
