Avakas Gorge
Spectacular

Another advantage of the widening gorge as you head up the trail is that you can now appreciate just how amazing the landscape is.
Another Interesting Tree

I didn't make a film of our adventure up the gorge, as I was with my visiting brother and I don't think he would have appreciated me waffling away all the time. I will do the trail again soon though and film it. Then you will be able to appreciate the lovely sound of water trickling through the pools.
More Storm Rubbish

This was puzzling too. At first glance it looks like this was a man-made construction, but on closer inspection I think it was just another bit of flotsam that had got wedged in on its way down the gorge.
More Flotsam

This tyre shared a similar fate.
