The Makers Space Craft Markets
Since 2019, The Maker's Place in Tala has been providing an important studio for pottery and ceramic artists. They also host a monthly craft market. The next one is on Saturday, so we thought we would give you a quick look at the Easter Market they had last month, so you can see what to expect.
This Must Be The Place

You can find the Makers Space on the approach to the Agios Neophytos Monastery. It is on the right, just before you reach the carparks. It is a wonderful old stone-built building housing a ceramics and pottery workshop, and double height Gallery space. They offer something for everybody, with classes for children, adults and options for individual masterclasses.
Take a look at The Makers Space Website for more details.
Polemi Art!

On Saturday 8th April Alex was lucky enough to have a stall here at their Easter Arts & Crafts Market between 4 and 8PM.

There were 25 stalls in total, with a range of handcrafted items including candles, soaps, ceramics, jewellery, gifts, and artworks.

Tea and coffee along with local wines helped sustain stall holders and guests alike, while Jose’s Baking Company were selling scrumptious Easter treats and hot cross buns.
The next market will be held this Saturday the 27th May, from 4 to 8PM. There is also one in June. So why not come along and support local artisans?

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
