The Call Of Choulou - Part 1
Yiayias
I walked past these old ladies as I headed down to the tavern. On the way back, a car passed me. It slowed down a little, but not much. When it got to the Yiayias though, it slowed to a crawl. People respect Yiayias!
Interesting Roof
I bet this little rooftop has many a story to tell.
Right Turn
As I walked up the main road, I noticed a right fork, so decided to investigate. This is why exploring on foot is highly recommended. Some village roads can get very narrow, as they were originally designed for donkeys. If you are on foot you can wander where you like without worrying about getting stuck in a blind alley.
Interesting Gate
I was intrigued by this gate. It has an unusual shape and appears to be made of solid metal. Is it home-made?
New Build
Down the lane I came across this, which looked like a new work-in-progress rather than a repair or renovation. This is encouraging as it shows that there must be some new blood in the village.
