There were also three big screens showing information films and interactive games. The one we used was in English though I think other languages are also supported. It was a very good film, not too long, but long enough to give you a decent insight into the turtle population. They are well put together and definitely worth watching.

There is in fact another room, but that is set aside for school visits.

Turtle Mementos

You can also buy numerous turtle-related products here, the proceeds of which will go to help the turtles. So if you normally bring back a box of Cyprus Delights or one of those wooden knob things they sell at the Sea Front for your friends, you could instead get them something here.

Back On The Outside

Once you are done with the museum, why not have a drink in the Square afterwards? It is a lovely setting.

Akamas View

The final picture shows the view of the Akamas from the Square. If you are visiting the Akamas at the moment please be very very careful not to drop any cigarettes or litter. The Cyprus countryside is a tinder-box at the moment, and wildfires can be devastating.
