Ineia Turtle Museum
Watch This Space

There were also three big screens showing information films and interactive games. The one we used was in English though I think other languages are also supported. It was a very good film, not too long, but long enough to give you a decent insight into the turtle population. They are well put together and definitely worth watching.

Educational Room

There is in fact another room, but that is set aside for school visits.
Turtle Mementos

You can also buy numerous turtle-related products here, the proceeds of which will go to help the turtles. So if you normally bring back a box of Cyprus Delights or one of those wooden knob things they sell at the Sea Front for your friends, you could instead get them something here.
Back On The Outside

Once you are done with the museum, why not have a drink in the Square afterwards? It is a lovely setting.
Akamas View

The final picture shows the view of the Akamas from the Square. If you are visiting the Akamas at the moment please be very very careful not to drop any cigarettes or litter. The Cyprus countryside is a tinder-box at the moment, and wildfires can be devastating.

Lara Bay is a bit of an enigma. If you approach from the direction of Paphos and Coral Bay, on the main road, you may well end at the beach by Lara Bay Restaurant. Confusingly, this is not Lara Bay. eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
