Geroskipou Bypass
Strange Poster
First, this poster has been shot at. Incidentally, does anybody know what this poster is supposed to represent?
Targets
Secondly, there were some targets. If I was to guess, I would say they were using air rifles. In fact, I think you can see some squashed pellets next to the can.
Near The Flea Market
If you are following our route, you will be returning to the flea market. Just before you get there, you come to a track which runs by the flea market's fence. We drove down it.
Distant Golden Arches
Finally, we had found the place where the bridge from MacDonalds will lead to. From here the gorge actually looks quite picturesque.
Gorge Floor
The track continues down into the floor of the gorge itself, where you will find some bee hives. Anyway, there wasn't much to see here, so we returned to the flea market. It needed a closer look.

A Geroskipou Mini Mystery
After our last blog of the strange monument near Mandria, we were delighted with the response, so we thought we would post these pictures of another forgotten site, this time in the heart of Geroskipou. Did anybody work on this site in the past, and if so, can they say why excavation work seems to have halted mid dig?Geroskipou Sculpture Park
As part of Pafo2017, a new Sculpture Park was commissioned in Geroskipou. Inspired by local history, legends and traditions, ten Cypriot and foreign sculptors have created on-site works drawing on the history of the area and, in this way, leaving behind them the traces of the European Capital of Culture. That's what the blurb says anyway. So what are they like?Good Pages To Visit
