On the other side of the building, you can see the Alpha Mega supermarket. Clearly we have come too far in our quest to see the planned course of the bypass (MacDonalds is to the left of this picture, quite a distance away), so we shall start heading back towards the flea market.

Pomegranates

In the grounds of the abandoned factory this pomegranate tree had sprouted. I have to say the pomegranates are looking pretty ripe on it. They are doing better than the ones on our tree, which seem to explode before they are remotely ready.

A Geroskipou Mini Mystery

Geroskipou Sculpture Park

As part of Pafo2017, a new Sculpture Park was commissioned in Geroskipou. Inspired by local history, legends and traditions, ten Cypriot and foreign sculptors have created on-site works drawing on the history of the area and, in this way, leaving behind them the traces of the European Capital of Culture. That's what the blurb says anyway. So what are they like?
