This Way To Adventure

The two key rules were:
1. Only one person on any section of wire at a time.
2. Only a maximum of two people on any platform at a time.
In our experience, some kids would happily disobey the two on a platform rule (the above platform doesn't count). They would get shouted at by the helpers. Nobody ever tried to disobey the "One person on a line" rule though. The customer base was mainly Russian, but there were British as well, and a few Cypriots.

Route Starts

So once you've picked your route (save the blue until last), off you go!
Easy Does It

The ladder is there to assist people getting stuck to trees because of their harness. As I said previously, you cannot be left unattached to the safety wire, but to start with, navigating from wire to wire can be difficult to get the hang of. So if you or your child do get stuck, don't worry, you will not be alone.
It Isn't All Zipping

Most of the course involves climbing around various obstacles, so expect to exert yourself. There are ziplines as well, along the route. This was one of them.
A Bridge Too Far?

If you look at this photo, you will see there are THREE wires going from left to right. Two hold the bridge up. The third is the safety wire that your harness attaches too. You couldn't fall off this if you tried. However, it is still frightening!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
