Seven Days In Paphos
Toumpallos

Having made the virtual tour (the full version was for Google Street View and consisted of over 3000 images!) I know my way around the park very well. Consequently we visited what I consider to be the best areas first. Saranta Colones (40 column fortress) and Toumpallos are both neglected areas, with most people focusing on the mosaics.

Outdoor Theatre

This is the view overlooking the outdoor theatre. The area beyond is still under active investigation and no doubt has many treasures yet to be revealed.
Paphos Lighthouse

The Archaeological Park, in my mind, is the number one attraction of Paphos. Don't just visit the mosaics though. Take time to explore the whole park properly. It is an amazing place.
A Mosaic

Ok, the mosaics are pretty cool too!
Day 3: Trip To Troodos

On the third day we headed up to Troodos. We wanted to do some urban exploring, and there are plenty of opportunities along the route. Our first port of call was the abandoned ranch near the Kouris Reservoir. This place has been left to nature for over twenty years now. It looks like more of it has been reclaimed by local scavengers too.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
