Columbia Beach Resort
The Beach Bar

We didn't indulge at the bar, tempting though it looked.
Towards The Beach

Heading down towards the beach, you soon come to an eating area.
The Outdoor Food Area

During lunch this must get quite crowded.
The Gardens

From here you can see the far corner of Pissouri Beach. Normally, when we visit Pissouri, we park in the carpark near the showers. If we are lucky we will get a spot under the tree. But this is the opposite end of the beach, so I don't think we have ever wandered this far up.
Looking Up

Not too shabby...

Cap St Georges
Cap St Georges is a new commercial venture out near the Akamas. It was recently discussed on the Paphos Life forum, as people were concerned about the level of access to the beach area that non-residents would get. So we took our camera down to have a look. This is not a review of Cap St Georges, we didn't try any of the food or drink. This is more of a quick nose so you can see what the area is like.Good Pages To Visit

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
