Winter Wonderland 2020
Ski Boarders Welcome!

I saw an equal mix of skiers and ski boarders. I have never tried the latter, but I was a terrible skateboarder so have no wish to have a go. I have been skiing in the distant past, but I am quite fond of my limbs so am happy to stick to a sledge.

On The Piste

We came during the week, to avoid the crowds, so it wasn't too busy.
To The Toboggan Run

We want to go this way, which is to the left of the drag lift.
Wetarse Hill

This is the toboggan run. It is a decent sized slope, and if you go from the top you will be going at a very fast speed indeed as you hurl into the safety net at the bottom. So you might want to start from half way up until you feel comfortable.
Novel Approach

This man had a novel approach I hadn't considered before. The plastic sheets seen in the first picture result in a cold, wet arse. This is hardly surprising. I would imagine that this ring would leave your posterior high and dry. Food for thought before our next visit.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
