There is plenty of water in the Xeros at the moment.

Where's The Road?

Ah, this explains the tape. The road on the other side soon disappears. It has been washed away. This was a familiar sight last year too.

Erosion

This is a shot from the side. You can see where the road used to be.

Anyway, there was clearly no way across, so we had to drive back up the valley and continue on the road to Paphos, at least until we got to Choletria. I am very glad I didn't try the crossing further upstream though. God knows what that is like now!

Odd Sign

There are a couple of quirky little villages along the way, which we will blog about in due course. This sign caught my eye when we were driving through Kelokedara.
