The Camel Trail Venetian Bridges
Keep Left
Anyway, if you keep to the left of the swing, you can easily make your way up the river.
Friendly Toad
This little chap was loving the water. He didn't seem bothered by my presence either. On some rivers you can walk along the bank and hear lots of frogs diving into the water in front of you, to get out of your way. Not this one.
Waterfall
Eventually I found the Roudia Bridge nature trail. You can view this trail on our Roudia Bridge blog. There is also a panoramic tour. This water fall was a bit feeble when I arrived but I imagine a few days ago it was quite spectacular.
To The Bridge
Roudia
This was a welcome sight. With all the devastation I had seen en-route, I was a bit concerned as to what I would find when I arrived. I needn't have worried.

Kelefos Bridge is probably the most well-known of all the Venetian Bridges in Cyprus, for good reasons. It features on the UK TV holiday adverts for Cyprus, showing a couple cycling over it on an afternoon ride. In reality, you won't find any cyclists here, but you will find a bridge full of charm, and surrounding countryside to match...Elia Bridge
Like its more famous neighbour, Elia Bridge spans the Diarizos River in the south western corner of Paphos Forest. Along with Roudia and Kelefos, it forms the Venetian Bridges Nature Trail, which is a lovely route, even if you do opt to drive, rather than hike it's distance.
