The Paphos Coast In Winter
Flow Down, Cold Rivulet
I am always in awe at the power of water. Over time it tears apart the most inhospitable landscapes, and it makes very short weather indeed of the sand on this beach. It is criss-crossed with mini gorges formed after the recent rain.
Pirate Island
During the summer this place is packed. Hopefully this summer things will be back to normal. It has been nice being able to drive around Paphos not surrounded by red numberplates stopping to take photographs or drive the wrong way up a one-way street, but Cyprus relies on tourism, and the sooner we get back to pre-COVID levels the better.
A Quiet Walk
Unusually I didn't see any joggers on my walk. I have seen them out in the rain before so I doubt the weather will have put them off. Perhaps I was a bit too early for the lunchtime athletes, and a bit too later for the pre-breakfast ones?
Jetty View
I shall head down there, but first I want to continue up the coast path to the Point.
Wind Picking Up
A lone photographer has beaten me to it. it is nice that they have built viewpoints along the coast path.
