Agios Georgios Harbour
Turtle Beach

Every summer there are reports of turtles swimming here. It's a good place to come if you fancy seeing one. The seaweed you can see here will have been removed by then as well.

Harbour Mural

You should also walk the length of the harbour, so you can check out the entire series of murals.
Harbour Reflections

There's something particularly beautiful about small fishing boats in a harbour. They conjure up so many childhood memories of holidays to the seaside. The water here is very clear too.
Encroaching Villas

I can't help thinking that the villas being built along the distant shoreline are taking away a bit of the view. I wonder what this scene will look like in 10 years time?
Agios Georgios Drive
I shall leave you with our latest driving film, which starts in Agios Georgios Harbour. You can see here how much the development at Cap St Georges has progressed. You can also see them starting a new build at Sea Caves. And I also popped into Crown Resorts Horizon, to see if there was any chance of that opening in the near future. Sorry to report that no visible work has happened there since our last visit.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
