Blueswreck is a trio whirlwind of a band from Cyprus: Marios Danos on guitar and vocals, Nicholas Philippou on drums, and Stephanos Demetriades on bass. They work as one in exploring the wonderful universe that is bluesand rock, from their earliest beginnings to their latest manifestations. Today, Blueswreck is one of the most popular and respected blues/rock bands on the island, playing at well-attended gigs all over Cyprus. Their kind audiences' excited approval gives them the necessary confidence to pursue an ambitious quest outside their homeland, at music festivals in Europe and elsewhere. The energetic and uplifting band is blues/rock to the bone indeed, taking people on a grand tour through the life and times of these legendary genres.

At the time we were interested in a necropolis that was hidden in the woods there. Now, in 2025 they appear to have started construction, so we took the drone down to see what was happening.
