Lara Bay is located on the Akamas Peninsula, in Western Cyprus. It is justifiably famous for the Turtle Sanctuary you can visit. You can get to Lara Bay either from the direction of Peyia or Ineia. When you visit, bear in mind that it is a turtle sanctuary, and respect the rules. Especially, don't use a parasol or sunbed, don't bring your pet, and -especially - don't dig up any baby turtles. If you are lucky, when you visit, you might see some wardens releasing some, but if not, leave them where they belong. You can see the wardens in some of the photos in the gallery.
