Leave Alone!

A sandier beach will also mean that turtles are more likely to nest there. When that happens, the authorities put these out to protect them. The main predator is foxes, apparently, but if you see one just leave it alone.

Latsi Harbour

There was quite a lot of activity at the Harbour when my drone buzzed past. Lots of boats were heading out towards the Blue Lagoon. The sea can get quite crowded there in the peak months. If you are hiring your own boat, you might want to consider visiting one of the little bays nearby. You will have a lot more privacy then.

Fish Restaurants

Latsi is a great place to come if you fancy some seafood, rather unsurprisingly. There are a lot of restaurants down there. You can also book a ticket to the Blue Lagoon or hire a boat yourself here. If you prefer something a bit more pre-planned though, take a look at the Viator Website. You will see the tours listed there and can book online and read reviews ets. It is run by the people who do Trip Advisor.

New Build

Behind Latsi you may notice a new hotel has sprung up. This is the Nalu, and it is part of the Leonardo Group.

Latsi View

From a distance, the hotel looks a bit beige. This is a fairly frequent observaton though. Building tend to blend in a bit better once they have been through a season or two of the local weather. It's like how unnatural your drive looks if you clean it with a pressure washer.
