Paphos Sea Front in April
Paphos Sea Front is looking lovely at the moment. A year ago it was in turmoil, as renovation work transformed it into a pedestrianised strip. Now it is reaping the benefits of all that work so let's take a stroll along the prom and soak up the atmosphere...
Castle View

We shall begin our stroll where we finished our last article - at the top end of the Sea Front near Poseidonos Avenue. By the way, if you want to skip straight to the film, you can see it here.
Alykes Beach

From Poseidonos Avenue I walked down the alley past Costa Coffee to Alykes Beach. It's nice to see that the posh sunbeds here are available to all. I notice though that it says "Available by set". What does that mean exactly? If you want to hire a sunbed, do you also need to hire an umbrella, towel and Safe Box? That would raise the price to €12.
The Outdoor Gym

From Alykes Beach you are literally a towel-throw away from the Municipal Beach. This is not much of a sandtrap, but a great place for snorkelling. The outdoor gym is also here, and very popular.
Flower Pots

The seats which now double as double as flower gardens have proven to be a big hit.
Τα Μπάνια

According to Google, this cafe is called Τα Μπάνια. It also translates that to mean "The baths". Now, I know that the Municipal Baths are behind the cafe (next to Fish Boy), so is Google just getting a bit confused, or is the cafe named after the swimming area?
