As you can see, the illuminated fountains change colours.
Stadium Lights
There was a match playing at the Stadium so the floodlights were on.
And finally...
And just to show you that Paphos doesn't need lots of glitter to look lovely at night, here is a shot I took of the Sea Front from the new Lookout Spot at SODAP Beach.
Lets Get On The Road
In case you missed them, these are the two films we made. The first was with the 360 camera. Don't worry, it isn't a 360 film, we flattened it by selecting a viewpoint. This allowed us to drive round the roundabout and keep the fountain in the centre of the picture. To be honest I wasn't sure it would work, as these cameras are not designed for low light conditions, but I was pleasantly surprised with the result.
Christmas Walkabout Film
The second film is a more traditional walkabout. We'll be back soon with some more articles, but in case you don't read them beforehand, have a wonderful Christmas and a Prosperous, Healthy New Year.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
