The Water Mill
Finally, we reach the water mill. The first thing to note is that the entrance at the bottom is completely blocked up. In days gone by / of yore / or whatever, water would flow through here, after it cascaded down from the top. This is no longer the case. However, apart from that, the mill still looks pretty intact.
Let's Explore
Moving around the side of the mill, it is definitely in pretty good nick still. There may be signs of repair as well.

At the very least, it is a nice place to hide from the sun.
View From The Top
The obvious next course of action is to walk along the top of the mill and see what is going on at the far end. Now, some of the rocks are a bit wobbly, and there is quite a drop when you get close to the tower, but I took it slowly and gently shuffled along. I soon got a BIG surprise though...

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
