Winter Wonderland 2020
Potential Camp

Had I been a child this would have become a camp, reinforced with branches stripped from nearby trees.

Life's A Drag

Unfortunately you have to have skis or a snowboard to use the drag lift. Our plastic sheets wouldn't work. So to get to the top we had a long, hard, slog. Well ok, it wasn't that long, but this is probably the best reason to opt for skis over a toboggan.
Enjoy The View

These people were in no particular hurry to descend. Good for them. Life is much better if you stop and smell the roses occasionally.
Getting Crowded

If you stop for too long though, it can get a big crowded!
More Mountains

I wonder why all the trees up here have their tops cut off. I did read about it somewhere once. Apparently it was to stop them blowing over in the wind or something. Please let me know if you have heard of a different reason.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
