Vouni Path
Distant Monastery
Below us I could make out the buildings of The Holy Monastery of Agia Moni. I didn't want us to end up there, as the walk back to Pano Panagia would be along the main road and of little interest. So our navigation decisions from now on were aimed at steering us to the right of this, back to the start.
Peaceful Scene
The trail we were on was in surprisingly good condition.
Interesting "Fruit"
If you see a tree full of these you might be forgiven for thinking that they are a particular ugly fruit. In fact, they are left behind by Pistacia Hall Gall Aphids.
The Trail Home
The trail headed back towards Pano Panagia. I think you will agree that it is a more attractive route than the main road.
More Rocks
You will also see a number of other cliffs on your way down. I hadn't appreciated before just how extensive they were.

Tucked away in the western slopes of Paphos Forest, lies an old mine. You won't ever have seen it unless you went looking for it, and even if you go looking for it you may not find it.Good Pages To Visit
