Another Dwelling

Another hole in the cliff had been walled up to make a home or storage area. Let's take a look inside.

Old Tombs?

I'm guessing these were old tombs at one point as well. I don't know how long ago the props had been added but I would feel even less safe living here because of them.

Weird that, isn't it? You feel safer in a cave without any props than in a cave lined with supports. That's human nature for you. Similar logic is applied to the old "Bobbies on the Beat" debate in the UK. Research found that people felt less at ease when police patrolled on foot at night. This was used as an argument against them. But it is a false argument. The real question should be "How many crimes were committed?", or in this case, "How many roofs collapsed?".

Blocked Up

At some point this room had been boarded up. Most of it was lying on the floor and you could see where it had been kicked inwards.

Interesting Overhang

The funny thing is, 10 years ago this could have looked completely different. There might have been a farm or anything. I didn't know the area at all then, but I am sure some of you reading this did. So if you have any information as to what used to be here, please let us know.

End Of The Road

I could go no further west here, so it seems a good place to end part 1 of this series. In Part 2, we begin over near Iasis Hospital and see what we can find there.
