The Grey Cliffs of Paphos - Part 1

Sturdy Ceiling

I wouldn't fancy living in a place like this. There is an awful lot of rock above your head. Bizarrely, there appears to be a fireplace on the left. I say bizarre, because there was no chimney. If you lit a fire there the room would get very smoky very quickly.

Looking Out

Mind you, look at the colour of that ceiling. It's blackened, presumably by countless fires. There are also several holes in the wall. Perhaps they were for ventilation?

An Actual Building!

This building was more man-made than cliff. Unfortunately, you can see that it has suffered as a result. Its roof is no longer present.

One Final Dwelling

There's one more mysterious cave to explore.

Old Tomb?

Was this a tomb at one point? When I was researching the church over the road, I noticed that according to Victorian maps, this area was a graveyard. I had presumed they meant the area on top of the cliff, but I guess it is possible that it was down here as well.
