Pomos Reservoir Overflows
The reservoirs are overflowing, which is good news. One of the first to pop was Pomos, probably because of its small size. I am always looking for an excuse to go to the Pomos area, as it is a lovely place to explore. So I took my drone and assorted cameras to see what I could see...
A New Feature

It has been a couple of years since I first visited Pomos Reservoir. It will feature in our third roadtrip eBook so I was keen to get some new pictures on the area. I looked on the map before setting off, as I wanted to see if there were any features near to the reservoir that I could investigate. Sure enough, this place popped up.

Initially I thought it was a picnic table, but it is much too narrow for that. Consider it more of a table for playing chess or backgammon on. It's real purpose though, is for people to pose in while they take Instagram pictures.
Reservoir End

I drove the length of the reservoir as I was doing a film for Google Street View. Besides, I wanted to revisit this church because there is a loo here!
Anyway, I parked up and went for a wander.
Panagia Chrysopateritissa Church

I did a walking film here, and a bit of drone flying. I had great fun trying to pronounce the name of the church.
Full Reservoir

I wrote an article on Panagia Chrysopateritissa Church a couple of years ago. Use the link to see it. The thing that I remember most vividly about the place is all the netting that surrounds it. I wonder what it is used for?

The Pomos Coastline
It is time to bid farewell to 2021. I don't think many people will miss it, to be frank, but we've got through it so lets hope that 2022 is better. In our final blog of the year we return once again to Pomos. I took my drone for a spin there, and got some nice shots of the coastline you would normally need a boat to see.Good Pages To Visit
