Here's an interesting nugget that came up on my Facebook History this morning. Five years ago today I posted that my new website had now gone live! We are now semi-officially five years old!

Odd Colours

And in those years, we have produced, including this one, four hundred and forty six blogs. That's a lot of waffle! And, if we say the average blog length is five pages, that's twenty-five pictures a blog, or over eleven thousand pictures in total.

Thank You

So thank you to everybody who has come along for the ride, and been part of our growth. Our Facebook presence has also gone from strength to strength, and Paphos Chat now boasts 17,000 members. In 2021 we started taking Youtube seriously and have been adding films to our repertoire. But don't worry, the blogs will continue. We have two waiting to be published already.

Bring On 2022

Indeed, tomorrow I will publish an article on my recent Troodos Trip, alongside a walking tour film I made showing what the slopes are like. And soon after that I shall publish some content about the abandoned Maximos Ranch, which I revisited a few weeks ago. So stay tuned for that. We don't plan on resting on our laurels in 2022.

Enjoy The Film

Here is the film we made. Hope you like it, and on behalf of Alex and myself, we hope you have a marvellous New Year, full of adventure and wonder, and safety. Let's drink to COVID buggering off and letting us all reclaim our lives back. And lets look forward to 2022 with eagerness and anticipation.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Polis Beaches Part 3

In the final part of our look at the beaches along the north coast of Paphos, we travel from Pomos to Polis, finishing up with a slap-up meal at our favourite kebab joint. If you want quieter beaches in beautiful surroundings, then this area will not disappoint. We visited these beaches more times than was strictly necessary to make this blog, which shows that we have saved what we consider to be some of the best Paphos beaches to last.

Pomos Reservoir Church

Panagia Chrysopateritissa Church is tucked away on the banks of Pomos Reservoir, in the outskirts of the Paphos Forest. If you fancy a break from the summer heat, or just like exploring hidden Cyprus, then it is well worth a visit.
