Bizarrely, the person who installed the gate had also fenced off the other side. Perhaps the vegetation here has only gown up in the last 30 years or so? I can't think why else they would bother, unless the area was used to keep goats.

That's enough exploring ancient history, let's go back to the car. You can see in the distance the track I descended. I was hoping the approaching track was going to be in a similar condition, but I was worried about the overgrown track I had just driven through...

Towards Adonis Baths

I now have an issue that happens every time I am driving in the hill.s As I ascend, or descend, I will see loads of stonking views. I take pictures at every turn, and when I come to process them, I find myself with a lot of very similar pictures. I will try not to get too repetitive.

The track turned out to be in pretty good nick. I was glad I was checking the track ahead on foot though, as there was a rather large boulder here I had to clear.
