Paphos Seafront Update
Temporary Inconvenience
As we reported the other week, the other shops and restaurants are in the process of installing legal signs now. There is also a temporary road along the seafront again. it runs from the back of Paps up to Tea For Two, and allows people to access the supermarket while the main road is dug up. Once the work is complete however, the sea front will once again be pedestrian only.
Mystery Fence
Now, they are supposed to be doing work along the seafront still, and there is a fence up preventing access to a lot of the area. However, there are convenient breaks, so you can still go and see the Boy with the Fish.
But why is it there at all? There doesn't appear to be any work going on, so I am surprised they haven't been removed.
Boy And Fish
While we are here it would be rude not to say hello to the little fisherman.
Municipal Baths
I have already published a film I made the day I took these pictures. It was only a few days ago, and I mentioned the fence then. Lo and behold, the fence has now been removed. Well, it has been shunted up the sea front. It is now closer to the harbour.
