Busy Harbour

Years ago we used to come to Cyprus on our holidays, especially on the Summer Half Term, as it was nice and (relatively) cool then, compared to August. I remember vividly the time when our holiday coincided with this festival. We knew nothing about it, and presumed that the stalls running along the harbour were a permanent display. We hated it, because it meant that our lovely harbour where we used to sit and feed icecream to the crabs was now full of clutter.

However, they packed it all away again a few days later and we realised it was only temporary. So don't despair if you arrive expecting to see your Harbour. It is still there. Just enjoy the festival for now, and sit on the wall later.

Why?

Has anybody ever wanted their name on a grain of rice? Asking for a friend.

Road Open

Currently the sea front road is still open (one way) to traffic. It may get closed off later.

Nosebag

There are an assortment of traditional sweets and nuts available from numerous stands. Lots of them let you try before you buy, so walk up the whole length before parting with your coins.

Toys Galore

One thing I don't get is why the Pink Panther is still a thing. Have they made any new films recently, or is there a warehouse somewhere full of toys made 40 years ago?
