Getting There
So have patience! Work is progressing at a decent pace and I think it will be months rather than years before it reopens again.

A Few More Harbour Shots
I took a few more shots of the harbour, which you may as well have a look at. It wasn't ideal weather for photography, but they're better than nothing. In this shot you can see they have started making something by the pool next to the castle. It will be interesting to see what they put here, because what was originally there was quite nice as it was.
Diving Area?
What is that funny area on the bottom right of the picture? It looks like somebody has made a diving training pool or something similar.
Don't worry if you are arriving soon and thinks it looks cloudy. It won't be long before people will be moaning about being too hot!

Paphos Coast Path Renovations
We've been getting a lot of people ask us about the coast path between Paphos Castle and the Lighthouse Beach. You may recall it has been closed a while now for renovations. So we went down yesterday with the drone to get a fresh look at how work was progressing. You can see from these shots that they have already achieved a lot, but that there is still a way to go before it re-opens.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
