Paphos Harbour Walkway Update - May 20th
Art Piece

Just on from that is another art piece. There is a similar one at Kennedy Square next to the fountain.
Men At Work

So the first half of the route looks complete, save for the extras they are adding to it on the side.
Centrepiece

Halfway along the path, you come to this area, which presumably is going to be some sort of centrepiece. My guess is a cafe.

The area between this corner and the Lighthouse hadn't had much work done the last time we looked. However, they appear to be making steady progress now.

If you drive along any concrete road in Cyprus, you will inevitably find a portion where some idiot in a truck has decided to drive along it before the concrete has set. This is probably why they are so keen to keep the area fenced off here.

Paphos Coast Path Renovations
We've been getting a lot of people ask us about the coast path between Paphos Castle and the Lighthouse Beach. You may recall it has been closed a while now for renovations. So we went down yesterday with the drone to get a fresh look at how work was progressing. You can see from these shots that they have already achieved a lot, but that there is still a way to go before it re-opens.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
